Jasper Strassenfest http://www.jasperstrassenfest.org/ Located in beautiful, scenic and historic Jasper Indiana, the Jasper Strassenfest provides for family get-togethers, renewing of old friendships, making new acquaintances and having fun with an incredible number of activities for young and old, German or not. It has become the greatest attraction in southern Indiana. Thousands of visitors flock to the predominantly German-Catholic community of appx.14,000. The Patoka Lake Sailing Club has been  baking our famous " Captain's Cookies " for many years .

1st Fall Race . Races begin at 12:30 EST on the main body of the lake. Marine channel 72 used for communications. There may be a one hour delay due to weather factors. Skippers meeting will be held at 10:00 AM at Terrys Pit Stop Restaurant (812-685-2282 ) near the entrance to the Newton Stuart SRA. M embers $ 5.00, non members $ 10.00.
